How often should mock drills be conducted?

As general good practice, we recommend at least two full evacuation drills a year, with extinguisher-handling refreshers more frequently for high-turnover staff teams. Some NOC renewals also expect documented evidence of periodic drills.

Who should be trained as a fire warden?

Typically one designated staff member per floor or department, responsible for guiding evacuation, taking a headcount at the assembly point, and liaising with emergency responders on arrival.
