Two systems, two different jobs
Hydrant systems and hose reels get bundled together often enough that buildings end up with one when they actually need both. A hydrant system — external yard hydrants plus internal landing valves on each floor — is built for higher pressure and volume, typically used by trained personnel. A hose reel is a lighter fixture meant for an occupant to tackle a small fire in its first minute. We plan coverage for both roles, not just whichever is cheaper to install.
